BSc Software Engineering

Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Core curriculum spanning algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and systems programming. Building toward a career in software engineering with a focus on low-level and full-stack development.

Jan 2023 – Aug 2023Education

Foundation Year, BSc Computer Science

University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK

Engineering and Physical Sciences Pathway. Completed the foundation year developing core scientific and computational reasoning skills before continuing software engineering studies in Saudi Arabia.

2024 – PresentWork

Indie SaaS Developer

Leadso

Designed, built, and shipped a B2B lead generation SaaS end-to-end, from database schema and backend API to the full frontend UI. Helps sales teams search, verify, and export business emails at scale.

CTD IoT Capstone

Embedded firmware project developed at Northwestern University's CTD program, sponsored by the Mawhiba scholarship. Implemented real-time sensor data collection and wireless transmission using I2C/SPI protocols on a Particle microcontroller.

Task Scheduling System

Java application that reads tasks from CSV, validates prerequisite consistency, and sorts by name. Demonstrates O(n³)→O(n²) optimization: replaced linear task lookup with HashMap indexing, cutting the inner search from O(n) to O(1).

JavaHashMapComparableCSV I/O

Java DSA Lab Tour

Collection of Fall 2025 Data Structures lab implementations: postfix evaluator (stack), linked list & queue, quicksort, min-heap, and graph BFS/DFS traversal.

JavaData StructuresAlgorithms

SQL Portfolio

Oracle SQL query collection from Database I coursework. Covers SELECT fundamentals, multi-table JOINs, subqueries, HAVING filters, and NOT EXISTS patterns.

Real-Time IoT Sensor Telemetry System

Remote field environments need continuous environmental monitoring without reliable internet. Existing solutions were either too power-hungry or couldn't handle intermittent connectivity gracefully.

My role: Designed and implemented the embedded firmware layer: sensor polling over I2C/SPI, data buffering for offline resilience, and wireless push to the Blynk cloud dashboard using a Particle microcontroller.

2003 Northeast Blackout: Engineering Failure Analysis

The 2003 Northeast blackout cut power to 55 million people across the US and Canada. Understanding the cascade of technical and human failures is critical for modern grid resilience.

My role: Researched and authored a technical report analyzing the root causes: software alarm failure in Ohio, cascading overloads, and the absence of real-time situational awareness that prevented early intervention.

Baratza Encore Conical Burr Grinder: Technical User Manual

Consumer grinder documentation often assumes prior knowledge, leaving users without clear guidance on calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

My role: Produced a structured technical user manual covering assembly, grind size calibration, cleaning procedures, and common fault resolution, applying technical writing principles for a non-expert audience.
